Meat Market is an historic building located just north of Melbourne’s CBD in the suburb of North Melbourne. The venue is approximately 5 minutes by car from the Royal Exhibition Building and 10 minutes from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Google map.

ABOUT THE BIG DESIGN TRADE

The Big Design Trade, now entering its fifth year, is an industry-only event where retail buyers and industry professional can source new products from Australian and New Zealand designers, as well as international brands represented by local distributors. The show will bring together a curated selection of 100 unique brands to provide a one-stop destination for buyers who are looking for high quality, unique and ethically made gifts and design products.

ATTENDEES

This is an industry-only event. All attendees must either pre-register or register at the event providing proof of their business.

STAND BUILD

Stands will be constructed from timber walling (painted white) so that exhibitors can create a bespoke space that reflects their brand. Each stand will have a 2.4m high back wall, on to which shelving and signage can be attached or painted, as well as 1m deep return walls either side.

Stands will be fitted with 300w arm lights attached to back walls to showcase products, the quantity of arm lights supplied depends on the size of stand booked. Additional floodlights will be installed overhead to create a warm ambience within the space.

STAND FEES

A variety of stand sizes are available, starting with a 2x2m stand at $2,000 excluding GST. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your stand if your application is successful, with a balance payment (75%) to be made in April 2023. Applicants accepted after this date will be invoiced for 100% of the stand fee, payable within 14 days.
